The Jellyfish are part of our Toddler Program. This means that our younger 2-year-olds are cared for with a lower ratio of 1:6 so they get more individual care. They also have a great academic program that is geared for their specific development and teaches them in a fun yet challenging way.
During their Daily Circle Time they are read 2-3 theme-based storybooks. They practice colors, shapes, numbers and letters. They also sing songs and do finger plays.
The Jellyfish do art activities daily. This includes both crafts and free art based on their thematic unit. Art time gives them a creative outlet and helps to perfect their fine motor skills. They also have music and movement activities every day.
Some of the concepts that they work on include, but are not limited to: socialization; sitting during circle time, art time, and eating times; cleaning up after themselves, getting comfortable with the potty, manners, taking turns and sharing.
Most of their curriculum revolves around a thematic unit that changes with the seasons and holidays.
